A piece of concept art I completed while leading a live creature design workshop on YouTube - the prompt I gave was to design a centaur mob for a theoretical video game set in space but with an ancient Egyptian theme; I based the bottom half of this design off of a rhino as opposed to a standard horse, and the top half off of the Egyptian god, Set. As Set's animal resemblance has never been confirmed, I based the head off of a cuttlefish to give it a more alien feel, while still retaining Set's classic head silhouette. The chest armor was based on traditional Egyptian protection, and the rest was inspired by the carapace of a scarab beetle.
The second image is the thumbnail for the creature design workshop I led, in which I created the previous illustration. After giving everyone the same prompt and a set amount of time to look up references, create thumbnail sketches, and draw a rough concept illustration, I then asked those who were willing to share their designs with me for discussion live on stream.
